Sadly, I’ve come to the realization that I need a new guitar…or replace the electronics inside. I think I’m ready for a new instrument. So, in a way this is all good. I’ve been eyeing Gibson’s 2010 Limited Les Paul with robotic tuning (pegs turn themselves), …the only problem is how much it costs. …. still might do it anyways. I’ve always played Fender, ESP, and Schecter guitars, but now i’m really into this new Gibson. You can set whatever alternate tunings you want into it’s memory banks and have the guitar tune itself! I love it! Music is going slow, but good, and I’ve teamed up with a couple people from work to do a cover song of an 80’s Thompson Twins song ‘hold me now’. It’s going to be a bit slower, and be done in an almost SWANS-like style. Slow, crushing yet beautiful. Just need to find a drummer and a female vocalist to pair up with the male vocalist. I’m happy. We will be posting on SoundCloud shorttly. Boys: Y’know…. i keep saying that I won’t meet guys online…. and yet inevitably I give it a try (again) anyways…. just like a sitcom re-run….. …So I met this guy who I was talking to for a few weeks, and he wants to meet. So when we arrange to meet, he doesn’t show up. Which is fine because I was only partially curious about him anyways. The weird thing is I went back on the site that I met him, and his profile changed age, from 25 to 33. Then shortly after that his profile was deleted. I’m not really surprised or disappointed, ..but I wonder why so many gays play out these weird fuckin’ games. …it’s time consuming and a waste of energy and thought for nothing. Why put energy into something that will result in nothing? I should do an art project about it. Anyways, I’ll only meet people in person from now on. Thankfully I just wasn’t that into him, so it didn’t matter. On to the next one, and the one after that….and the one after that, until an actual good one comes along. Art: Designing some new ink, and setting up an appointment at a local tattoo shop called Archive Tattoo. It’s going to be the largest one I have so far - a back piece. I’m collaborating with a graphic artist on this one to make sure it looks perfect. I’m hopefully going to be able to document the work being done. The piece will be in black and white with one central spot of colour. Photos will be posted as it develops. Aside from that, I’ve begun shopping for props for my current photo project. The tough part is finding models who’d be interested in participating… especially since the images play off of what could be considered hazing or intense intimacy. I’ll post a few shots as the work progresses. Stocks / Investments: Money is dead. Silver is the trade of this decade as it begins to outpace gold in terms of percentage of growth. Everyone should buy as much as they can in my opinion.
